Wooden Fonts – Creative Wood & Timber Typefaces

Discover Wooden Fonts inspired by timber, bark, branches, logs and natural wood textures. This collection brings the warmth and character of real materials into expressive typography. From polished oak letters to rough twigs, birch bark and burned wood, every typeface offers a distinctive visual personality. Explore wooden lettering for posters, branding, packaging, outdoor graphics and creative projects.

Wooden Fonts is where the shop keeps everything with grain in it, and the range is wider than the word suggests. There is planed board with screws through it, firewood split by axe, twigs so thin you can see the plaster behind them, and a set of spent matches. None of it is a wood-effect overlay: each letter was cut, stacked or tied first.

Wooden Fonts and the Brands That Want Grain

Carpentry, joinery and furniture makers are the natural buyers, and so is anything sold as handmade — craft beer, coffee roasters, farm shops, small distilleries. Cabins, campsites, scout groups and outdoor gear come next. The charred and split ones suit barbecue and smokehouse work, while the fine twigs go to wedding stationery and quiet editorial. A note on scale: bark and twig detail disappears below about 40pt, so treat these as headline faces.

The Two Things in the Folder

Every one of these Wooden Fonts is a working OpenType font, typed like any other. You also get each character on its own as a transparent PNG at high resolution, which matters here because a single knot or cut end is often the whole point of the letter.

More Wooden Fonts Down the Yard

The grid holds the ones with full artwork. Boards, blocks and offcuts continue with Woodcut Font, Grunge Wood Font, Wood Block Font, Rounded Wood Font, Charred Board Font, Wood Light Font, Wood Ride Font and Wooden Toy Font. Bark, Moss and Everything Still Growing

Wood that is still attached to a living plant — leaves, moss, flowers, grass — belongs to Nature Fonts. For the harder end of the same rustic brief, Stone Fonts covers rock, slate and gravel.
