Font Collections

Every font here started as a physical thing — a sheet of hammered metal, a pile of melting ice, a loaf photographed before it cooled. The collections below group them by what the letters are actually made of, which is how most people go looking. Some are built around a material: metal, gold, stone, wood, ice, fur. Others gather a mood instead — Christmas, monsters, luxury, balloons. Food takes three shelves of its own, because there is a lot of it.

They overlap on purpose, so a gingerbread alphabet turns up in Food, Bakery and Christmas at once and you will meet some fonts twice. These are hand-picked lists rather than automatic tag archives, and every font in them arrives the same way: an OpenType file you install and type with, plus separate letters as transparent PNGs at high resolution.
