Christmas Fonts – Festive Handmade Typography

Christmas Fonts bring the textures, treats and traditions of the holiday season into expressive typography. Explore handmade lettering inspired by gingerbread, sugar cookies, candy, evergreen branches, snow, ice and sparkling decorations. From cozy baked textures to crisp frozen letterforms, this festive collection is made for Christmas cards, seasonal packaging, posters, invitations, advertising and cheerful winter designs.

Christmas Fonts have one job and about six weeks in which to do it, so none of these tries to be subtle. Each is built from the real material of the season — icing piped onto gingerbread, fir needles with baubles wired into them, peppermint stripe, ice that is visibly giving up — and then photographed rather than drawn. That is why they survive being blown up to shop-window size.

Christmas Fonts Earn Their Money in November

Retail gets there first: window vinyl, gift wrap, the seasonal landing page, the banner that has to work inside a small ad box. Cards and party invitations follow, and so does packaging, since a chocolate box only has to say one word. One thing worth knowing before you pick — the cookie and gingerbread faces stay useful all winter, while candy cane and fir read as December and nothing else.

How the Letters Arrive

Each one installs as an ordinary OpenType font, so you type a headline instead of placing pictures. Every character also comes on its own as a transparent PNG at high resolution, which is the format you want when a single capital has to sit on a photograph or bend around a bauble.

Christmas Fonts That Did Not Get a Card Here

The shop holds far more Christmas Fonts than the grid above shows. Ornaments and presents first: Christmas Ball Font, Christmas Ball Yellow Font, New Year Balls Font, Christmas Decoration Font, Christmas Toy Font, Christmas Giftbox Font and Christmas Balloon Font. Then everything that glitters on a wire — Tinsel Font, Color Tinsel Font, Color Garland Font, Neon Garland Font, LED Garland Font, Snow Garland Font and Sparkler Font.

Snow and the man himself are Snow 3D Font, Christmas Snow Font, Handwritten Snow Font and Santa Font, while Green Christmas Font, White Christmas Font and Christmas Color Craze Font take the season by colour instead. Baking, meanwhile, carries on in Gingerbread Font, Gingerbread Colors Font, Gingerbread Cookies Font, Gingerbread Cookies Shine Font and Cookie Classics Font.

When the Snow Outstays the Holiday

Frost, cracks and frozen blocks without any tinsel live in Ice Fonts. The gingerbread half of that list also belongs to Bakery Fonts, and anything edible beyond the baking sits in Food Fonts.
