Toy Font. Padded Patchwork Letters Stitched From Fabric

49.00$ 34.30$

Soft padded letters sewn from patches of coloured cloth, joined by chunky dark blanket stitch running along every seam. Toy Font looks like something off a nursery shelf rather than off a screen. Uppercase, numbers and punctuation, plus separate PNG letters. Good for kids’ brands, craft shops, toy packaging and picture books.

Toy Font Was Cut, Stuffed and Sewn

Each letter starts as several fabric panels, and then someone stitched them together. So the seams show, and the thread is deliberately thick and dark. Because the pieces are stuffed, every stroke bulges softly at the middle. Corners round off too, since padded cloth never holds a sharp edge. Look along an edge, and the stitch spacing wanders exactly as hand sewing does.

A Colour Per Panel, Not Per Letter

Panels change colour inside a single glyph, which is what gives the alphabet its scrapbag energy. Mustard sits next to sky blue, while dusty pink runs into olive. Since the palette stays slightly muted, it reads playful rather than shrill. Meanwhile the dark stitching holds everything together, so nothing floats apart. Set a word, and no two letters repeat the same combination.

Where Soft Type Belongs

Nursery walls, toy packaging, a craft fair poster, a picture book cover. Here the mockups try gift boxes, a poster and apparel, and the padding survives the shrink. Naturally it suits children’s work, though a quilting or slow-craft brand would take it just as well. Also, it sits better on plain paper than on a busy photo. Besides, one letter alone already works as a shop sign.

What Toy Font Ships With

It installs as a normal OTF, so the stitching arrives with every keypress. Alongside that, PNG letters come on transparent backgrounds at high resolution. Those help when a letter has to sit on fabric or wood in a photo. For flat quilt panels instead of stuffed ones, Patch Cloth Font is the closer cousin. Meanwhile Vintage Gobelin Font takes the same idea somewhere older and dustier.
