Ice Round Font. The Coolest Typography Trend

49.00$ 34.30$

Plump rounded letters pressed from frosted ice, milky rather than clear, with fine scratches and trapped air inside. The Ice Round Font stays soft in shape and cold on the surface, which is a useful contradiction. Mockups run from drinks cans to a peeling street poster. Supplied as an OTF plus transparent PNG letters.

Rounded Blocks of Frosted Ice

Of course, every letter looks pressed from a block of frozen water, then rounded off at the ends. Surfaces also stay milky rather than clear, with fine scratches and trapped air showing through. Terminals swell into soft blobs, so the whole alphabet feels friendly instead of sharp. Meanwhile a faint bluish cast keeps the white from reading as plastic. Look closely at the O and the frost pattern shifts right across the curve.

Soft Shapes, Cold Surface

Rounded forms and a freezing surface pull in opposite directions, which is exactly why it works. So a word can look cute and chilly in the same glance. Also the strokes are thick enough to hold their detail at small sizes. Besides, white on a coloured ground needs no outline here at all. Naturally it sits happily on pale blue, black or a soft pink.

The Ice Round Font on Cans, Covers and a Street Poster

One street poster is pasted onto a hoarding, though its corners are already peeling away. Then a pair of drinks cans wear FRESH down their sides in embossed ice letters. There is a stack of black book covers as well, plus a magazine spread built around a huge question mark. In addition, a close crop shows the frozen surface at full detail. Meanwhile drinks branding, winter menus, festival flyers, skincare packaging and album covers all suit it.

Getting the Ice Round Font Out of the Freezer

Install the OTF, and each block of ice then lands as you type. A folder of loose PNG letters comes too, already knocked out of the background. Meanwhile Ice Age Font hangs icicles off a condensed sans instead, for something colder. The Ice Fonts collection rounds up everything else frozen. No freezer required.
