Terminals swell into soft blobs, so the whole alphabet feels friendly instead of sharp. Meanwhile a faint bluish cast keeps the white from reading as plastic. Look closely at the O and the frost pattern shifts right across the curve.
Soft Shapes, Cold Surface
Rounded forms and a freezing surface pull in opposite directions, which is exactly why it works. So a word can look cute and chilly in the same glance. Also the strokes are thick enough to hold their detail at small sizes. Besides, white on a coloured ground needs no outline here at all. Naturally it sits happily on pale blue, black or a soft pink.
