Stuffed and stitched like a saddle
Every letter behaves, of course, like a filled cushion rather than a drawn shape. The faces bulge softly, and the edges roll over the way padding does. A line of saddle stitching then runs right around each form, dipping slightly into the leather at every hole. Corners round off, because padded leather cannot hold a sharp point.
