A red tube traced twice around every letter
The letterforms are wide and steady, so the tube has room to run. A red neon line first traces the outline, then repeats a second time just inside it. That doubling is what makes the glyphs read as a real sign rather than a glow effect. Where the tube turns a corner, it bends in a soft radius instead of a sharp point. Small dark gaps break the line too, exactly where a glass section would end.
Smoked acrylic behind the glow
Behind the tubes, of course, sits a dark smoked panel. It is not flat black, since the red bleeds into it and lifts the surface slightly.
