Write with the pulse of fear – Bloody Font, where letters come to life.

Horror, you see, isn’t exactly my favorite thing. I’m more of a “what if I get a paper cut from this script” kind of guy, but the Bloody Font—well, it’s a whole other story. We’re talking about an alphabet here, and numbers too, all meticulously crafted out of blood. Yeah, you heard me—red, drippy, “fresh from the crime scene” blood.

This isn’t your average Times New Roman, this is Halloween typography that’ll make you reconsider sending out that birthday card. It’s an OpenType Font, which, as far as I understand, means that it’s high definition—so high definition, in fact, that you almost want to call a doctor when you see it. But, of course, you can only see it if your app can handle color bitmap fonts. So if your software’s behind the times, you’re out of luck. No blood-spattered letters for you. I mean the least your design program can do is accommodate a little horror-show typography, right?

Ink is for amateurs. Bleed your words with Bloody Font.

Now, imagine using this for your everyday needs. A love letter? Too on the nose, unless you’re courting a vampire. A grocery list? “Don’t forget the milk,” written in dripping crimson. It’s not exactly the kind of thing that screams “functional,” but in a world where creativity often feels like it’s being bled dry, no pun intended, the Bloody Font definitely makes its mark. This font is like a horror film that’s so over the top, it’s almost artistic. If Quentin Tarantino were designing typography, this is probably what he’d come up with during a caffeine-fueled brainstorming session at 2 a.m.

And as gory as it is, it’s creative. I mean, who wakes up one day and says, “You know what the alphabet’s missing? Blood.” It’s the kind of out-of-the-box thinking that either makes you a genius or lands you on a watchlist. But as someone once said, “Creativity is like paint—it’s only interesting when it’s splattered all over the place.” And Bloody Font splatters more than enough to cover the entire design spectrum—quite literally.

This color OpenType font is designed for use in software that supports color bitmap fonts. To utilize all the features of this font, you’ll need programs like Photoshop CC 2017, Illustrator CC 2018, Procreate 4.3, or later. Additionally, each character is also provided as an individual PNG file with a transparent background, boasting a high resolution of 4000x4000px. The download package includes 56 files, one for each character in the Blood Font set, allowing you to manually arrange them in any graphic design software for custom text compositions.

Let your letters bleed emotion

The layout possibilities are endless, if you’re brave enough to use them. Each letter looks like it’s been freshly dipped in a bucket of… well, let’s just say “red paint,” to keep things palatable. There’s this visceral, dripping effect that’s almost too realistic—like the kind of thing you’d see on a B-movie poster advertising The Slasher Who Didn’t Pay His Taxes. There’s nothing subtle here. It’s screaming at you: “Look at me, I’m terrifying!”

For horror aficionados or Halloween enthusiasts, it’s like typography gold. You’ve got everything you need to turn your standard “Happy Halloween” banner into something that looks like it’s straight out of a haunted house, or maybe an amateur horror film shot on a shoestring budget, with plenty of ketchup as a stand-in for the real stuff.
