The Broken Font smashes a pane of clear glass at the centre of every letter, so cracks fan outward and prism colours catch along each broken edge. The glyphs stay transparent, which makes the background half the design. Best on black, for thrillers, club artwork and security campaigns.
The Broken Font Starts With an Impact Point
Somebody hit a pane of glass dead centre, and every glyph keeps the result. Cracks fan out from that impact star, so the shards grow larger toward the edges. Light bends through each fragment too, therefore thin rainbows run along the broken edges. Nothing fills the middle, since the glass stays clear. So the Broken Font draws its outline purely out of damage.
Almost Transparent, Which Changes Everything
On black the shards glitter and the letters appear out of nowhere. Meanwhile on white they go faint, closer to an etched drawing. So the background is not decoration here, because it does half the work. Caps, numerals, currency signs and punctuation all shatter the same way. Since every break is different, no two glyphs repeat a crack pattern.
