Somebody clearly had a chemistry set and no supervision. Every letter is a ball-and-stick model, so spheres sit at the joints while thin white rods run between them. The shape holds because each rod braces a corner, exactly the way a real molecular diagram does. Naturally the spheres catch light on top, which leaves a glossy plastic finish. Then you notice the colour code: red, blue and white, repeated across the whole set. In addition, the Molecule Font makes a textbook figure type like ordinary letters.

Colour does most of the work here. Red spheres cluster at the outer edges, while blue ones anchor the middle of each stroke. Since the palette never changes, a word reads as one connected structure rather than separate glyphs. The rods stay matte, so the shiny balls pop against them. Meanwhile the modelling is close enough to a real kit that a chemist would nod at it. Nobody has to know it is type, though.
