Broken Bottle Font Sweeps Up the Pieces
Every letter here started as a bottle. The Broken Bottle Font assembles each glyph from smashed green and amber glass, so necks, shoulders and jagged bases all turn up as parts of a stroke. Because real bottle glass is thick, the broken edges show a pale green core where the light gets in. Then the screw threads on a neck stay perfectly readable. Meanwhile the shards overlap at odd angles, held together by nothing obvious. Naturally no two letters use the same pieces.
Olive, Amber and Cut Edges
Colour comes straight off the recycling bin. Deep olive dominates, since beer bottles outnumber everything else in the pile. Amber and clear fragments break up the green where they land. Besides that, the surfaces stay glossy, so highlights skid across every curved shard. Above all, sharp white lines mark each fracture. Of course the whole thing looks like something you would not pick up barehanded.
